Casa Felicidade is situated near Almancil in the central Algarve & benefits from being less than a 20 minute drive from the International Airport at Faro. It is less than 15 minutes from major resorts like Vilamoura, Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago & is just a few minutes drive from most of the popular championship golf courses & some of the best beaches in the Algarve.
This 3 bedroom bungalow style Villa comfortably accommodates 6 people, comprises of 1 double bedroom (which can be changed to a twin) and 2 twin bedrooms, there is a separate bathroom with a double vanity unit & also a shower room. The Villa has a well proportioned lounge/dining room with satellite TV, VCR & music centre. The spacious kitchen leads onto a south facing sun terrace for al-fresco eating which overlooks the mature garden & pool. The Villa is equipped with mosquito screens, air conditioning & a wood burning fire or central heating for the cooler months. There is ample parking available & the Villa is close to all necessary amenities.
The Villa is fully furnished & has a well equipped kitchen with microwave & dishwasher although many guests choose to eat out & experience traditional Portuguese food which is available at the many reasonably priced café & restaurant facilities throughout the area. The Villa also benefits from having a large Barbecue which provides an excellent focal point for al fresco entertainment. The pool is shallow & ideal for families with younger children, there is a poolside shower room/toilet & is all set amidst a mature secluded garden.
A weekly maid service will be provided throughout your stay to ensure that fresh bed linen & bath/hand towels are available. The Villa also benefits from having a washing machine & tumble dryer.
There are many Portuguese bars, cafes & pastelarias close by & several large supermarkets are situated just a few minutes drive away.
The Villa is well situated for exploring the central Algarve, visiting one or more of the magnificent beaches, playing golf, tennis & other sports or for simply relaxing at a nice Portuguese bar in the more rural inland region.
Whilst access to the Villa is very good we do recommend that transport is arranged prior to your arrival. Hire cars are relatively inexpensive & are usually picked up & dropped off at Faro airport. For your convenience, & if required, we can make arrangements for your hire car through a reputable local operator. We can also arrange for airport pick up & drop off for a small additional charge.
You will be met at the Villa the morning after your arrival by the a local rep & will be available in the event of any unforeseen problems at the Villa. Our representative will also be pleased to offer you advice should this be needed.
