Anvil Cottage is a former dairy which has been fully renovated, and is situated seven miles from Barnard Castle. With one double bedroom and a bathroom, as well as an open plan living area, this is a great cottage for a romantic getaway. Outside there is a shared courtyard area, and off road parking for two cars. With lots to do in the area, Anvil Cottage is an ideal place to base yourself for your holiday.

Full gas central heating, additional heating from electric woodburner-effect fire in the sitting area and electric underfloor heating in the bathroom. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, TV/DVD with Freeview, stereo/CD player/radio, library of books, games and DVDs. Use of owner’s freezer by arrangement. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Bike and equipment storage available. Shared courtyard area with garden furniture and BBQ. Stabling available by arrangement with owner. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pub 2 miles. Note: Owners live next door in the farmhouse.

Payment Policy: All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
