Vraadal is an attractive place for ski sports, and has almost everything - from varied alpine slopes to fine ski tracks in forests and on the highlands. Vraadal tempts you with all kinds of skiing activities in its lovely and varied scenery. The alpine slopes offer all grades of difficulty for skiers, and here you will also find a separate toboggan lift. Vraadal Ski Centre can also boast an 8-seater chair lift; the worlds largest. . In Vrådal we prepare 40 to 60 km of ski slopes in mountainous terrain, in the valley, over fields, in the forest and on safe ice. Most of the winter you may start skiing from your own chalet. Season: Christmas through to Easter. Ski rental and ski instructions are available at the Vrådal Skisenter. The Vrådal Skisenter is only 2kms away. It is one of the biggest ski centres in Southern Norway... famous for the first 8-seater chairlift in the world. In addition Vrådal Skisenter runs four other lifts and prepares fifteen pistes. The longest piste is 3 600 m and has a vertical drop of 473 m. One of the biggest snow production system in Norway makes it possible to open the skicenter in the middle of December and keep it in good condition until the middle of April. Snowboarding at Vrådal Skisenter ... The slopes are designed for all levels of expertise -both beginners and advanced alpine/Telemark skiers and snow boarders.
