These cottages (casitas) were creatively renovated by their architect owner from ancient Andaluz farm buildings, making them both spacious and practical. Away from the main house each of the casitas is quiet and private, but also close enough to be perfect for groups and large family holidays. Rent any one or in any combination (see separate entries for El Azahar and Las Palomas).
Set amidst olive, orange and lemon groves they each have their own individual character. You can walk from your door through the surrounding trees and beyond to the river Guadalfeo.
With private, sheltered patios and acres of olive terraces, the casitas provide a safe environment for children. There is no traffic except for visitor’s cars. Cars are parked under a shade roof. The casita has a large L-shaped living/dining room with open log fire and a double bed-settee for two extra guests. Terracotta floors, rugs. TV, DVD, CD player, and lots of books. There is a charming double-bedded bedroom with wardrobe and antique rustic furniture. The sofa is in a corner of the sitting room providing the additional sleeping capacity. The well-equipped kitchen has a breakfast table and wood burning stove, double sink, large fridge freezer, microwave, gas cooker and electric oven. There is access through French windows to an extensive enclosed patio with barbecue. An outer terrace with remains of an ancient bread oven has views overlooking the olive and lemon groves and the mountains beyond. |
